The journal Problemy muzykal'noi nauki / Music Scholarship would like to present its readers with an interview Nina Siniakova, a composer and pianist of diverse cultural background broad interests. Her music explores the eternal subjects beauty, love, life, death. colleagues describe her style as “unique refined,” (Mark Hagerty, composer, USA) that in their opinion makes Siniakova “one most interesting composers generation.” (Krzysztof Meyer, Professor Emeritus, Cologne Hochschule für Musik) interests musical genres span from written contemporary classical minimalism, jazz, easy listening, for children. is active pianist, educator, sales representative at Cunningham Piano Company Philadelphia. A Doctor Musical Arts, she was born Minsk, capital Belarus, received education Minsk Glinka College, St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory Musikhochschule Cologne. Besides having developed activities has also studied theatrical acting professionally. recipient numerous awards, including First Prize People’s Choice Award XII Open Competition Composers named after Andrei Petrov Petersburg, Russia (in nomination “symphonic music” Concerto Two Violins Orchestra), stipend DAAD (the German Students’ Exchange Service), Exploring Metropolis program NYC many others. As appeared Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space New York, Harvard University, Beethoven House Bonn, Academy Philadelphia, Philharmonic Zink jazz Bar York.
